Hi, I’m Rosie - founder of Wild Walks.
I’ve always loved being outdoors, but in 2019, everything shifted when I had a sudden spinal cord compression at T4/T5. It was a curveball I never saw coming, recovery was tough, but walking became my way back. One step at a time, it helped me rebuild strength, confidence, and a sense of freedom.
That’s how Wild Walks began.
This is a space for people to switch off from the noise, move their bodies, and feel part of something real. We walk, we talk, we get muddy boots and clearer minds.
Whether you’re chasing adventure, headspace, or good company, you’re welcome here.
I volunteer with Millimetres 2 Mountains, a charity that, through the great outdoors and the power of community, inspires and supports individuals to redefine their limitations and take steps towards a brighter future.
They run amazing events and adventure trips, and I’m proud to be part of what they do!
Next walking dates for May TBC
I’m a qualified Outdoor First Aider and currently completing my Lowland Leader training with the Mountain Training Association. Safety, inclusivity, and fun are at the heart of every walk I lead.
